Mission

Emily in Paris is an American romantic comedy television series created by Darren Star for Netflix. Set in Paris, the series stars Lily Collins as aspiring marketing executive Emily Cooper, an American who moves to France to provide an American point of view to a French marketing firm. There, she struggles to succeed in the workplace while searching for love and experiencing a culture clash with her conventional Midwestern U.S. upbringing. However, she soons begins to adapt and finds reasons to stay in Paris. This vlog is intended to be a space for fans to be up to date with what Emily is up to.

Audience

The audience of this vlog will be people who LOVE comedy-drama. However, people who love travel, Paris, and marketing will also find their way here. This page will have an aesthetic that captures Emily in Paris. Attracting those who are familiar with the show as well.

Content

The content on this site will be divided into three sections. The main page will include the introduction to Emily’s Vlog. The second section will be about Emily’s marketing campaigns. The third section will be on Emily’s daily day posts. These posts will have visual media with descriptions incorporated. All capturing Emily’s personality, personal life, and professional endeavors.

Graphics

This site will contain a variety of forms of media that Emily has published. This means seeing a lot of Emily! These will also have a short description on them about what Emily did that day. Some of the photos I currently have in mind are below.

Notes

When discussing style and fonts, this site is going to have specific components. There is going to be use of colors like light pink, white, and light blue - to capture Emily’s branding. The closest fonts to the title font used for Emily in Paris were Trebuchet MS and Gill Sans - Therefore, we are going to be using those. Overall, all aspects of the site are intended to capture Emily’s personality.
