Sustainability, Affordability, and Inclusivity. In today’s age of fast fashion and social media, it’s hard to keep up with the latest fashion trends and find something that appeals to all three of these criteria. There’s also much more pressure to always dress your best and present the best version of yourself online. Fashion should be something that is fun, expressive, and readily available for everyone.
My solution to this is a Spring Lookbook. This site will feature some of the most popular apparel items seen on Instagram and TikTok and will allow visitors to more easily find and purchase these items.
While many clothing brands often have seasonal lookbooks to promote their own clothing, the purpose of my website is to focus on sustainability, affordability, and inclusiveness without compromising aesthetics. I hope to feature different items from different price ranges, feature ethically made clothing items, and feature gender neutral looks that are also size inclusive.
I hope that this website can expand as an app format. As technology evolves, there can also be more customization and personalization features based on your aesthetic. I think fashion should be an inclusive space and no one should feel excluded from trying things out.
