Studio Ghibli Inc. (株式会社スタジオジブリ) is a Japanese animation studio headquartered in Koganei, Tokyo that has been producing beloved animated feature films that have influenced generations. I have discovered many awe-inspiring fantastical worlds that have since become part of the core of my own creative visions. Listed are four of my favorate fascinating world to share with you.

Spirited Away is a 2001 Japanese animated fantasy film about a 10 year-old girl whom with her parents are moving to a new home. On their way, they took a shortcut and found themselves in a forest with empty restaurants full of food.

天空の城ラピュタ

Award: Animage Anime Grand Prix


Castle in the Sky is the first film produced by the Studio and aired in 1986. A girl falls from the sky and searches for a legendary floting city with an orphan boy.


もののけ姫

Princess Mononocke is a 1997 produced by the Studio that tells the story set in the late Muromachi period of Japan of a young prince's struggle with gods within a forest.

ハウルの動く城

Director: Hayao Miyazaki

Howl's Moving Castle is a 2004 film set in a fictional kingdom of magical realism and follows a young girl who was turned into a elderly woman by a witch who curses her.
