Assignment 11: GROUP WEBSITE PROPOSAL
Mission:
The purpose of this website is to provide USC students with study spots around campus, both within the University Park Campus (UPC) and Health Sciences Campus (HSC). Results will include libraries on campus, cafes, parks, and open spaces near campus. The options will cater to the user’s needs by asking the user their study preferences.
Audiences:
Our target audience includes USC students, faculty/staff, and residents living in the surrounding areas of both USC campuses who are looking for places to do work. The primary target audience is USC students (both at the undergraduate and graduate levels).
Features:
The site will feature two options to pick from on the main page when the user first enters the site. Users can either select from an existing gallery of study spots and browse to their liking, or take a study spot quiz that will create a more specific list of study spot options for them.
Team roles:
“Initial thoughts on team roles, such as Project Manager, Lead Designer, HTML and CSS production, Javascript developer, Q/A, etc. Obviously in such small groups many of you will have more than one role and multiple people may have the same roles.”
